Thank You for Joining Us In The National Salute to Veteran Patients

Last week we asked the Uber Community to join us in the National Salute to Veteran Patients by writing messages of support and gratitude for healing veterans recovering at VA medical centers across the country. For every card submitted, we pledged to donate $1 to the  Bob Woodruff Foundation to support veterans in rehabilitation and recovery programs.

We were thrilled to receive thousands of messages from Uber riders, partner drivers, and employees. Last Friday, February 13, UberMILITARY partner drivers joined Uber representatives in visiting local VA medical centers across the country to hand deliver the cards to our nation’s heroes.

Thank you to those who offered notes of appreciation and encouragement. Because of your support, we will proudly be donating $10,000 to the Bob Woodruff Foundation.
