Captain Morgan Giving Away Up To $20,000 for Safe Rides at Gasparilla

What kind of grades did the pirate get in high school? HIGH SEAS!

What’s a pirate’s favorite letter of the alphabet? ARRRRRR!

What did the elderly pirate say when asked if he was 80-years old? Aye, matey! Tampa_Gasparilla-Pirate-Festival-blog-body_r1

There’s only one reason—albeit a great reason—we would inundate you with corny pirate jokes: it’s time for Gasparilla 2016! The annual and enormously epic pirate festival in Tampa Bay hits the shores in full force on Saturday, and Uber is partnering with Captain Morgan to dig up some treasure (i.e. free rides) for seasoned sailors and landlubbers alike.

In order to ensure Gasparilla attendees make it back to port safe and sound, Captain Morgan is giving away up to $20,000 worth of free Uber rides between now and Saturday!

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Right now (!), open the Uber app, tap the Profile icon in the top left corner, and tap Promotions
  2. Enter the promo code PirateResponsibly before 2pm on Saturday, January 30
  3. On Saturday, starting at 2pm, be one of the first 1,000 riders to open your app and enter the secret promo code that will be displayed on your screen
  4. Enjoy your free ride!
