Sydney #UberEverywhere

Whew! You’ve been doing some traveling! It’s that time in our #UberEverywhere trip to head down to Sydney and refresh yourself with some boats, beaches, and upside-down Ubers. ;)

Now Arriving In The Harbour City

Sydney was the first city to launch in the Southern hemisphere, the first city to provide UberLUX, the first city to #UberBOAT, the first city to sell Ice Cream in winter, and the last city you’ll ever want to leave. Getting around The Harbour City is easy as choosing TAXI, BLACK or LUX, and if you’re lucky, you’ll catch Graham in his 1936 Stretch Cadillac!

Uber to Anywhere

We hopped in a Holden Caprice on UberBLACK and fanged around Sydney to show you a bit about our little slice of #UberEverywhere.

1. Friday Long Lunches at China Doll

Woolloomooloo wharf is a great big cluster of some of the best restaurants in the city, and the world. China Doll does fantastic Asian fusion, and an even better Negroni and Old Fashioned (two favourite drinks of the Sydney team).

2. Bourke St Bakery Sausage Roll

Gotta get into your Aussie pastries! Pies and sausage rolls are institutions of Down-Unda-Culcha, and Bourke St Bakery does some of the best of both. You wouldn’t go astray with a cheeky coffee from those blokes either.

3. The Bondi Beach Miracle

If it’s one of those days where you’re battling hard, take a dip in Bondi, you’ll be resurrected and ready to get back to a cold beer at The Bucket List as the sun goes down. There’s a reason it’s one of the most well known beaches in the world: it just can’t be beaten. Take a walk along the coastline from Bondi to Bronte and you’ll see what we mean.

4. Yoga Beyond @ Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton Pool

Get your zen on with world class yoga teachers from Yoga Beyond! Set below luscious palm trees of the Royal Botanic Gardens, take in Sydney’s iconic Harbour views and smugly judge the long lunchers at China Doll. Namaste all you crow posers.

5. House Parties!

Nobody does house parties like Sydney in summer. From Australia Day JJJ Hottest 100 BBQs to sunset DIY festivals of 600+, making play when the sun shines is a local delicacy. No hyperlink here, but if you come down and visit, email us and we’ll bring you along to the next one!
