Start Driving with Uber: How to Submit Your Driving Record

If you applied to partner with Uber and recently moved states or had a new license issued, we will need a copy of your one -year’s driving record* in order to complete your application. You can retrieve your record in three easy steps.

*If you are currently 21 or 22 years old, you will need to provide 3 years of your driving record. 

Step 1: Get Your Driving Record

Get a copy of your Motor Vehicle Record by doing one of the following:

(A) Take a picture of an old driver’s license
(B) Go in-person to your state’s Motor Vehicle Agency and ask for a copy

Step 2: Submit Your Driving Record

Email a picture of your driving record to support@checkr.com. Be sure to include your name, phone number, and email address in the body of the email. If you have questions about this process please contact Checkr at 844-824-3257.

Step 3: Check Your Application Status

If you do not get an update on your background check within three (3) business days please email partnerscentral@uber.com and a member of our operations team will follow-up with you.
