Nearly two years ago we introduced UberBLACK to South Africa. Today, we take one LARGE stride closer to achieving our goal of becoming Everyone’s Private Driver, introducing: UberELLIE: Everyone’s Private Elephant

UberELLIE is Now in South Africa, and is FREE until Friday night!
That’s right, you can now request an Elephant to your doorstep to get you where you need to go!


How it works:

  1. New users, download the Uber application here
  2. New and existing users, enter the promotional code ElephantSA to unlock the unique Elephant view
  3. Toggle over to the elephant icon and request a car as you normally would
  4. Within minutes, an Elephant, fully equipped with an Uber branded saddle will arrive at your location, ready to get you where you need to go!

While UberELLIE is free until 5 PM, Friday 03 April, standard prices can be found below:

PRICES:  Base Fare: R200| Min Fare: R350 | Fare per km: R20 |
Fare per min: R5  | Cancellation fee: R250

Florida Road – Moses Mabhida Stadium: R283

Sandton – Montecasino: R356

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Rider will be liable for all cleaning fees (including any mess made by Ellie)
