The Places You POOL, The People You Meet
It’s been a full week since the launch of uberPOOL in Singapore, and what an exciting ride it has been. The journey has taken us to meet new people, put more money in our piggy banks, and explore the city in a whole new way. Over this past week, we’ve gathered up the data for the top destinations in the city that our riders have started to POOL to.
Top Destination # 1: Changi Airport
Travelling is in our DNA, and Changi Airport unsurprisingly has emerged as the #1 Top POOLed destination. In the last week, Singaporeans have started their journey even before hopping on the flight – sharing their travel plans with fellow POOLers and saving a few extra bucks for their trip.
One Raffles Quay to Changi Airport on uberPOOL = $13.00
Your Savings on POOL = $4.30
Top Destination # 2: Marina Bay Sands
This comes as no surprise that our community has been sharing a ride to the landmark of our city’s skyline. Your plans may range from getting a drink at the roof deck, catching the latest musical or trying your luck on a game of cards. Perfect if you are new to Singapore and this is on your itinerary, there’s no reason not to POOL and meet the local community.
ION Orchard to Marina Bay Sands on uberPOOL = $5.70
Your Savings on POOL = $2.00
Top Destination # 3: Changi Business Park
The office crowd in Changi Business Park is growing, but it might be a little farther for some compared to working in the CBD. uberPOOL was the perfect opportunity for riders to split the costs of their commute to work and save some cash to splurge on a nicer lunch. There’s a pretty good chance that one of your neighbours head to work in the same area, so sit back, relax and we’ll take you from door to door.
Ang Mo Kio to Changi Business Park on uberPOOL = $12.80
Your Savings on POOL = $4.30
Top Destination # 4: Serangoon Nex Mall
In 2016, the demand for Uber in the heartland areas has grown significantly. Uber is all about increasing accessibility for the neighbourhood areas and complementing public transport to connect you to your last mile home. Serangoon is becoming one of the most popular MRT interchanges as well – so whether it’s shopping after work or getting to your nearest station, POOL is here.
CBD to Nex Mall on uberPOOL = $9.00
Your Savings on POOL = $3.05
Top Destination # 5: Clarke Quay
Singapore loves to arrive in comfort and style for their big night out. We’ve learnt that the night doesn’t only have to begin when you have a drink in hand, it can start right at the moment you enter your car. Play some eDM beats on the ride for some good vibes, and start a conversation with your POOLmate. Who says you can’t start an awesome friendship at an uberPOOL ride?
Pasir Ris to Clarke Quay on uberPOOL = $12.50
Your Savings on POOL = $4.20
So here’s to rediscovering our city and getting closer to our beloved Singaporean community. We can’t wait to see where uberPOOL will be taking our riders to next. Keep on POOLing!

A little over a year ago, we set out to put a new spin on an old classic–make reliable food delivery available at the tap of a button. Back then, we started by offering food in the UberEATS app from 1,000 pioneering restaurant partners in four cities. And today, more than 40,000 restaurants globally–from poke shops to pasta spots–are sharing food with customers through UberEATS. With a growing restaurant community comes more choices and more complexity. So we’re cooking up features to continue to make UberEATS easy and reliable. Here is a taste–
