Schedule Rides up to 30 Days in Advance
Since Uber’s magic of “push a button and get a ride” launched 6 years ago, people have valued the ability to access rides on-demand through our app. But we’ve also heard from our riders that sometimes they want to arrange a pickup in advance so they can rest, assured that an Uber will be available when they need it, even if it’s for a 4AM ride to the airport.
We totally get it. That’s why, we’re introducing Scheduled Rides to Singapore today. With just a few taps on your app, you can schedule your ride 15 minutes to 30 days in advance and have the comfort of knowing your Uber will be there when it’s time to head out.
HOW IT WORKS
- Select uberX and tap Schedule a Ride.
- Set your pick-up date, time, location, and destination.
- Confirm the details of your upcoming trip. You can cancel at anytime before your ride is on the way.
- We’ll send you reminders both 24 hours and 30 minutes in advance of your pick-up. You’ll be notified after your ride is on the way.

What products can I schedule in advance?
The Scheduled Rides feature will be available on uberX.
Are Scheduled Rides available for cash payments?
At the moment, scheduled rides are available for credit card only. We will work towards alternative forms of payment if we see demand for other options.
Can I schedule a ride from the airport?
Right now, riders are able to schedule a ride to the airport but not from the airport.
How is dynamic pricing calculated for my scheduled rides?
Before scheduling a ride, you’ll be shown a price estimate for your ride, based on historical data. When our system starts dispatching the car, a more accurate pricing will be provided.
Are there restrictions to the locations I schedule rides to?
Scheduled rides are available at all times, except at major events in the city. In such situations, you can request your uberX rides on-demand, as usual.
How can I double check on my scheduled trip details?
You can find your upcoming trips under the “Trips” tab.
What if I need to edit or cancel my scheduled ride?
No problem! You can edit and cancel anytime before your car is dispatched to pick you up. After it’s dispatched, you can still cancel within 5 minutes (per our normal policy) without a cancellation fee.
