But here at Uber, these numbers represent our commitment to building a better, greener Singapore. Our vision for uberPOOL is simple: to enable riders to get around the city more efficiently, affordably and reliably, while taking cars off the road and passing on the savings to both our riders and partners.
In just three months, we’re already seeing the impact uberPOOL has brought to our city. Here’s how much we’ve saved together since our June 29 launch:

uberPOOL continues to be one of the most affordable and popular ways for riders to get around the city – from students heading to school, to professionals heading to work. Riders all around Singapore have loved the savings from taking POOL rides, and it is no wonder that today, more than 25% of all Uber rides are uberPOOL rides.
With the increased demand, driver-partners on the platform are now staying more efficient on the road while maximising their earnings with little idle time between trips. More trips mean more earnings for driver-partners who are passionately moving people all around Singapore, every single day.

Back then, we started by offering food in the UberEATS app from 1,000 pioneering restaurant partners in four cities. And today, more than 40,000 restaurants globally–from poke shops to pasta spots–are sharing food with customers through UberEATS.
