Update: Scam Claims in Singapore
The Uber team is aware of the news reports about third parties offering promotional “Uber packages” for riders in Singapore. Uber would like to confirm to all riders and drivers that we are not running such promotions in Singapore. Any promotions run by the Uber team are always conducted through the Uber app and communicated to our users via our own communication channels including via email, the Uber Facebook page, on Twitter and through Instagram.
Know The Colour Of Your Uber Before You Get Picked Up
Now, once you’ve requested a ride, the colour of your car icon in the app will match your driver’s car. You’ll be able to see this from within the app itself – on the map as well as on the driver info tab.
