Supporting Philly Students
Many students in Philadelphia begin school without the supplies they need to ensure a successful year. Essentials like pens, pencils, paper and backpacks can often be a luxury, but they shouldn’t have to be. That is why we partnered with Cradles to Crayons, The Philadelphia School District, and Whole Foods Market to launch UberSCHOOL, to ensure all students get the proper supplies to succeed.
Celebrating 1 Year of uberX
One year ago today, on October 24, 2014, uberX launched in Philadelphia with a handful of cars and some very enthusiastic driver-partners. Since then, the community has grown and we owe that to you and your dedication to keeping the city moving.
