Current Role: Researcher
Current Employer: Ornithology Lab
Summary: I recently completed my PhD program in the biology department of Northwestern University (go ‘cats!). I am now working as a researcher in the ornithology lab, combining my love of prowling for new insights and watching birds.
Current Role: Purr-sonal Assistant
Current Employer: Lawn & Tree Arborists
Summary: I always go out on a limb for my employers. When someone tells me to jump, I ask how high. I’m interested in helping companies speed up their operations with my fast typing (120 wpm), excellent listening skills, and generally upbeat demeanor.
Current Role: Assistant
Current Employer: Nap Studies Lab
Summary: I’m a recent graduate with a degree in business administration. I currently assist researchers in a nap studies lab (and definitely get a few winks myself). My coworkers often comment on my paws-itivity, and I try to make sure everyone I work with feels supported. Oh, and I’m vigilant about keeping sensitive documents safe—I love shredding papers!
Current Role: Community Advo-cat
Current Employer: ASPCA
Summary: I studied physics, with a specialization in string theory, but upon graduation realized that I wanted to pursue a more hands-on career. I have always loved animals (I prefer cats to dogs), and decided to get involved with my local ASPCA. I’m so proud of the work we do to prevent cruelty to animals.
