Uber + IHG = More Rewarding Rides

Riding with Uber just got easier — and more rewarding — for members of InterContinental Hotels Group’s loyalty program, IHG® Rewards Club.

Beginning this week, guests will be able to request a ride from within the IHG® App through the Uber API, and starting in early 2016, IHG guests can set Uber ‘Ride Reminders’ through IHG reservation emails in advance of their stay. With Ride Reminders, guests will get an automated notification on the day of travel to seamlessly request an Uber ride to their hotel.

Also, beginning this week, IHG Rewards Club members who are new to Uber and sign up with promo code IHG will enjoy the first ride free (up to $20) and 2,000 IHG® Rewards Club points.* These points are redeemable toward a future stay at any of the more than 4,900 IHG hotels in the world including InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, and Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts.
