Celebrating Black History Month

This year is the 100th anniversary of Black History Month with “A Century of Black Life, History and Culture”. With only a few more days left, the century celebration is certainly alive! There are many Black History Month events within the DFW area that are acknowledging the history, the culture, and many lives of both past and present African American influencers.

The Weekender

Discover DFW this weekend by getting out and about. There’s plenty to do in the metroplex this weekend, here are a few of our favorites.

No Car Week

On a typical weekday, most DFW locals have a similar, basic routine. Wake up, get ready, and then set out to conquer the day. Although daily tasks may vary, many of these day-to-day routines have something very basic in common – driving a car. So, what happens when that aspect of the routine is taken out of the picture?

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue

The Uber DFW team has something up our sleeve, and we want to help you share the love and make this Valentine’s Day one to remember with a special Uber Valentine’s Day surprise.

Uber is Arriving in Denton

From Fry Street to Downtown Square and everything in-between there is a lot to discover in Denton, and Uber wants to help you get there! That’s right – Uber is officially expanding to the Little D.

Ridesharing: Big changes for the Big D

It’s no secret that Texans love their cars. This is widely visible by looking at commuter behavior in Dallas where there is a strong preference towards personal car use over other forms of public transportation. There are approximately 930k cars on the road in Dallas, with the number continuously climbing with our growing population, leaving us to question whether the hassle of car expenses, congestion, and limited parking is a problem that can be remedied?
