In July 2014, the Illinois State Senate passed HB 4075, a bill that hurts consumer choice and safety, limits economic development, and stifles the ability for cities to regulate transportation services in a way that meets their residents’ needs. In September 2014, Governor Quinn vetoed HB 4075 to protect consumer choice in Illinois.
