VancUBER: We can’t stop thinking about you

A lot has happened in the two years since we first met. Beyonce dropped a surprise album, Will and Kate announced they have another baby on the way, and we’ve added to the Uber family too, expanding to more than 213 cities worldwide.

We’ve seen new cities around the world welcome us emphatically, and even helped several municipalities craft regulations that understand our innovative business model that benefits riders, drivers, and cities at large.

Although we only spent a few months together, we think we had a really strong connection. All the places we traveled together, the memories we made. Sure, there was drama, but we haven’t been able to stop thinking about you. We compare every new city to you. And now we realize that perhaps the timing just wasn’t right when we first met. But that doesn’t mean we can’t try again.

We’ve been getting reacquainted with city officials, educating them on how the Uber platform works and hope they’ll understand why cities around the globe have already fallen in love with Uber.

It’s true that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and so we can hardly wait see you again, Van.
