The New UberEATS App: More of the Food You Love

Update: as of January 6th, 2016, the UberEATS app is now available for Android users through the Google Play Store. Join the thousands of Torontonians who are using the UberEATS app to enjoy food from over 100 of Toronto’s best restaurants.

Toronto, you’re using UberEATS to get lunch delivered in minutes. And you’ve made it clear that you’re hungry for more.

So today, with the launch of the new UberEATS app – available on iOS – you can have food from over a hundred Toronto favourites, delivered to your door. With extended service from 10am to 10pm and free delivery until 2016, you’ll be able to enjoy more options, and more convenience, more often.

Toronto’s world class food and tech scenes make it the perfect global launch city for the new app. And Torontonians like you – who’ve embraced UberEATS from the beginning – are the perfect ones to try it first.

Take Josh. He runs a brand agency downtown, rarely has time to step out for lunch, and immediately welcomed UberEATS into his workday. Josh’s first order turned him into a self-proclaimed power user. “In three minutes I was eating something great. It was next level–curated food that I actually wanted.”

Toronto restaurants have been just as enthusiastic. Since the service launched in May, favourites like Porchetta & Co., Electric Mud and Freshhave all partnered with UberEATS to expand their reach and grow their businesses.

Lisa Labute, Owner of The Goods, joined forces with UberEATS soon after launch. “The people and drivers at Uber are a pleasure to work with and the partnership has proven both great for our image and our business.”

The new UberEATS app gives Toronto eaters and restaurant partners more options.

  • Now you can order from the full menus of over a hundred of Toronto’s favourite restaurants, from 10am to 10pm, seven days a week. Delivery is free until 2016.
  • At lunchtime, you can still get great food in as little as 10 minutes through our Instant Delivery menu (Josh, we’ve got your back).
  • Restaurants can depend on the Uber delivery network to get more meals delivered to more customers, quickly and reliably.

We want you to be able to eat what you want, when you want. Download the UberEATS app, find what you’re craving, and we’ll handle the rest.
