Since we introduced UberACCESS in Toronto in December 2014, our wheelchair accessible vehicle supply has been growing, which has transformed disabled transit. The platform allows for on-demand pick ups within minutes. And drivers of vehicles on the UberACCESS platform are knowledgeable about accessibility needs and accommodating for riders who require wheelchair accessible vehicles with a lift or ramp for transportation.

We’re dedicated to increasing the mobility, efficiency and freedom of all riders and drivers with accessibility needs. Furthermore, the app includes various text prompts and visual features, meaning that audio is not needed to use Uber, ensuring effective communication for those who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.
We’re excited to expand the Uber for Business platform beyond business travel, to include a world-class customer transportation solution, Uber Central. With Uber Central, organizations of all shapes and sizes can now easily provide on-demand, door-to-door transportation for their customers, clients, and guests.
