Ride to help Fort McMurray
Tens-of-thousands of residents have been evacuated from their homes in Fort McMurray as devastating wildfires continue to spread across the city.
To help assist those impacted by the fires, we’ll donate $1 to the Canadian Red Cross for rides taken in Canada tomorrow, May 6, using the code UBER4FM.
How to participate:
- Download the Uber app for iPhone, Android, or Windows
- Enter the code UBER4FM into the ‘Promotions’ section of your app
- We’ll donate $1 for rides taken on May 6 to the Canadian Red Cross to help with Fort McMurray relief efforts
You can also donate directly to the Red Cross here, or make a $10 donation by texting FIRES to 45678. All donations will go directly to the Alberta Fires Emergency Appeal.
Thank you for helping to support our fellow Canadians in their time of need.

With a growing restaurant community comes more choices and more complexity. So we’re cooking up features to continue to make UberEATS easy and reliable. Here is a taste–
