Uber is Keeping Edmonton Moving with FREE rides!
Since we launched in Edmonton, thousands of people have chosen the Uber platform in Edmonton to find a reliable ride when they need one. We have the pleasure of partnering with hundreds of drivers and we are excited about the ways the platform is creating new and convenient means of getting around town.
We are encouraged by the City of Edmonton’s desire to lead the way by bringing expanded transportation alternatives to Edmontonians. We are also very thankful for the support we have received from riders and drivers.
Cities across the world have developed regulatory frameworks for ridesharing. Uber is committed to working with the city and members of council to create a permanent regulatory framework for ridesharing. To demonstrate our commitment to this effort:
The benefits that Uber delivers to cities like Edmonton are clear. It expands transportation options, especially during times of peak demand, and it gives Edmontonians the ability to earn an income as a ridesharing driver.
We are excited about the road ahead, and hope you are too!

With a growing restaurant community comes more choices and more complexity. So we’re cooking up features to continue to make UberEATS easy and reliable. Here is a taste–
