Uber Canada & Goodwill® Make Spring Cleaning Easy

Blog Post Update | Monday, June 1st

This past Saturday, we teamed up with our friends at Goodwill® to make donating quick, easy, and convenient for our awesome Toronto and Ottawa riders.

We’re blown away by the results and excited to announce that we picked up 585 donations in Toronto and Ottawa which resulted in 1,406 bags of clothing – an estimated 21,090 lbs to @GoodwillTECNO!

Thank you to all the amazing riders who supported #UberSpringCleaning – we couldn’t have done it without you!

Spring is coming to an end, and it’s time to make sure those closets have been cleaned out. In the spirit of the season, we are once again teaming up with our friends at Goodwill® to make donating clothing quick and convenient for our Toronto and Ottawa riders.

#UberSpringCleaning – Clean out your closets and
let Uber take care of the rest

This Saturday, May 30, with the touch of a button, a driver will come to your house, pickup bags of clothing and deliver them directly to a local donation center — all for free!

We are excited that Uber is so significantly expanding its partnership with Goodwill. Thanks to the generosity of our neighbours and friends, and Uber’s continued commitment to helping more people achieve economic independence, Goodwill will be able to make an even greater impact in local communities.  Thanks to Uber for making donating so convenient!
