Thank you for your food donations, Calgary!
Last Saturday, we launched Uber Calgary’s first food drive, a one-day community event where Calgarians were able to request a free pickup of their food donations to the Calgary Food Bank.
Your response was amazing. We are thrilled to have collected over 750 lbs of food for the Calgary Food Bank. None of this could be possible without the amazing driver-partners and generous Calgarians who donated to the cause.
“It was a great day for Uber to leverage their skills and collect food for neighbours in need. Using the resources at our fingertips is an innovative way to directly engage our community and address hunger.”– James McAra, President and CEO, Calgary Food Bank
Together, we made a difference. Thank you Calgary for joining us to help out our community.

And today, more than 40,000 restaurants globally–from poke shops to pasta spots–are sharing food with customers through UberEATS. With a growing restaurant community comes more choices and more complexity. So we’re cooking up features to continue to make UberEATS easy and reliable. Here is a taste–
