Educating Canadians about the importance of not drinking and driving is top of mind for us. In Canada, drunk driving claims almost 1,500 lives and causes over 64,000 injuries each year.1 Ridesharing is helping drive down these heartbreaking statistics around the world by providing people with a reliable alternative to getting behind the wheel.

Take California for example; Drunk driving crashes fell by 60% per month among drivers under 30 in the Californian cities that we operate in. These results echo similar good news out of Seattle, where the arrival of Uber has helped reduce drunk driving arrests by 10%.
