Signing Up for Uber with a Promo Code?

So someone has given you an Uber promo code to try out our bad ass service, and you’re trying to figure out how to use it? Well, you’ve come to the right place.

First, as a quick reminder, Uber is an on-demand private driver service that you order via your smartphone. Download the free Uber app (or order via text message), set your pickup location and within minutes a professional driver will pick you up and drop you off at your destination. In Toronto, Uber offers TAXI, Black Car or SUV service through the push of a button.

Entering your promo code is easy. You can either download the app (for free) from the Apple App Store or Android Market, and then enter the code into the app as you sign-up, or you can sign-up online at Uber.com/go (entering your promo code when asked) and then download the app and log-in.

If you’re reading this and wondering, where can I get my hands on a promo code, try using “tortaxi10blog” for $10 off you first Uber TAXI ride. If you live in Toronto, $10 should cover most of a trip anywhere downtown – give it a shot! Sign-up now here.

A few promo code reminders:

  • The offer above is valid until the end of January 2013.
  • Valid only for new Uber users
As always, hit us up at SupportToronto@uber.com with any questions.
