Meet Lucas: Marketing Manager

Lucas is a legend of sorts…

He was the first “Uberite” in Toronto. He has built your favourite app from zero cars available with zero riders, to your pop it, lock it and drop it on-demand transportation fiesta that we know and love in Toronto! Two years ago, you could find Lucas flagging down cabs on the road all alone in the rain. Now you’ll see him in the back of an UberSUV filled with five friends, playing loud music and going to his favourite indie concerts at the Drake Underground.

In one word: Hangry!

Grew up in: North York

Current Toronto Neighbourhood: Little Italy, “Palmerston is the greatest street in Toronto!”

When I’m not working I love to go to concerts, check out new restaurants and bike through the city on a nice day.

Favorite Internet meme: I hate internet memes!

Typical Uber ride: From the office to my home… yes, it’s only a 10 minute walk away.

My ultimate vacation getaway would consist of an extended canoe trip with my close friends, or backpacking. Anything with a sense of adventure (i.e. no beach bum vacations).

Brunch spot: Aunties and Uncles… best spot in the city, hands down!

Patio:  Bellwoods, Ronnie’s, Rock Lobster (Queen W)

Museum or historical site: The ROM

Spot to chill and watch the sunset: The deck on my apartment

Concert Venue: The Drake Underground, The Dakota Tavern

Fun fact:  I play a mean ukulele
