Wear Pink to Stand Against Bullying, Homophobia, and Transphobia

Today, 9.9 million Canadians are taking a stand against bullying, homophobia, and transphobia by wearing pink. Bullying is the lead cause of suicides and deaths among young people today—it’s not something we simply grow out of.

In support of DayOfPink.org , $1 for every uberPOOL ride in Toronto and every uberX ride in Ottawa today will be donated to the Canadian Centre for Gender & Sexual Diversity. Every day, this centre runs free workshops, trainings, and programs to empower LGBTQ+ people. It works to build allyship, to create safe classrooms, workspaces, and communities.

Together, we can help end bullying, discrimination, homophobia, transphobia, and transmisogyny in our communities and around the world.
