Celebrating The Women Who Move Toronto
Last week over 100 female driver-partners came together to celebrate the women who move Toronto. Attendees enjoyed sharing stories with one another and meeting the Uber team. Partners shared tips and tricks on everything from best times to drive to preventative exercises they can do while driving to prevent strain and injury.
One of the highlights were the top-rated partners who shared their personal stories.
Meet Tanya, Kam, Louise and Siobhan.
“Driving as an Uber partner fits me perfectly, I get to explore the Greater Toronto Area in my car, talking with cool people from allover. Uber has provided me the opportunity to make a living and learn interesting things from others!” -Tanya
“I have a history of being a healthcare professional providing excellent service. I am grateful to work alongside an amazing company as an Uber Partner. A company with high standards that encompasses the same professional work ethic” – Kam
“We are more than just drivers.” – Louise
“I drive because it’s cashless. Riders have already entered their payment information (you are not just picking people off the street) and it’s always an adventure” – Siobhan

With a growing restaurant community comes more choices and more complexity. So we’re cooking up features to continue to make UberEATS easy and reliable. Here is a taste–
