GET WHAT YOU NEED

  • Set your delivery location throughout DC and confirm your address.
  • Toggle over to ESSENTIALS in the Uber app and start adding products to your cart.
  • Proceed to checkout and place your order. Your driver will notify you when he or she arrives.
  • Upon arrival, meet your driver curbside and collect your items.
  • As always, no cash required! Only the items you ordered will be charged to your Uber account (no delivery fees. no minimum order.)

This is a limited-time-only experiment – but the more you love it, the more likely it will last.

At the moment, uberESSENTIALS is available only throughout DC.

Q: WHAT IF I DON’T SEE A PRODUCT I WANT TO ORDER?

Products not on our inventory list are not available for purchase through the Uber app. Let us know what you’d like to see added here.

Q: WHAT IF I FORGOT TO ORDER AN ITEM?

No worries! When your driver arrives, let your driver know you’re not done shopping and would like to add another item to your order.

Q: IS THERE A DELIVERY FEE?

Nope, you are only charged for the sum of the items you ordered!

Q: CAN I GET AN ITEMIZED RECEIPT?

Your receipt will reflect your order total only. If you need an itemized receipt, simply reply to your email receipt or email supportDC@uber.com.

Q: DO I NEED TO TIP MY DRIVER?

No need to tip! The best way to thank your driver is with a 5-star rating.

Q: MY DRIVER FORGOT AN ITEM THAT I PAID FOR. WHAT DO I DO?
