Getting paid is easier than ever
We’re always looking for new ways to improve your experience. So we’re introducing Flex Pay, our new payment option which allows you to request to access your earnings on any day of the week.
Eligibility
To qualify for Flex Pay, partners must meet the following criteria:
25+ Uber trips
14+ days since first Uber trip
Pass Uber’s daily fraud and security screen
How do I use Flex Pay?
Once you’re eligible for Flex Pay, you’re ready to request your available earnings to be paid out.
From the Uber Driver App:
Select the Earnings tab.
Tap the “Cash Out” button.
Tap “Confirm Cash Out.”
From the Partner Dashboard:
Log in to partners.uber.com.
Tap ‘Flex Pay’ and you’ll see the total amount available for you.
Tap ‘Transfer Now’ and you’ll receive a confirmation of your request.
Tap ‘Confirm’ to finish your transfer.
FAQ

Why can’t I cash out?
You may be unable to cash out using Flex Pay because:
- You are attempting to cash out more than the weekly or daily maximum;
- Your bank is still processing a previous cash out;
- Your account has been active for less than two weeks since your first trip and/or you have completed fewer than 25 trips (please see eligibility requirements here); or
- Your account is under review for a security risk and Flex Pay is temporarily disabled.

What can I get paid out?
If you are eligible, you will be able to cash out the balance currently in your account. Only the earnings that are shown in your account at the time you elect to cash out will be transferred.
Is there a fee to use Flex Pay?
No. There is no fee to use Flex Pay.
One of my payments is not appearing on my account
High value trips might be held for review. These payments will be cleared before the standard payment cycle.
Why am I not eligible?
If you find the Flex Pay option is not active, it may be because you’re currently ineligible, which may be because:
- Your account has been active for less than two weeks since your first trip;
- You have completed fewer than 25 trips; or
- Your account is under review for a security risk.
Can I request my payment whenever I want?
The frequency with which you can request to cash out earning depends on when you cashed out and your bank’s processing times. Often, eligible driver partners are able to cash out their earnings once per day. However, if you cash out late in the day, on the weekend or on a bank/public holidays, you may need to wait a little longer before you can cash out again as your request will not be processed until the following business day.

Any payments from the past week that you don’t cash out by 11.59pm on Monday will be deposited in your bank account as usual – that is by the end of the week in your regular weekly payout.

When can I cash out?
You can cash out at any time. However, cashing out before the cut-off time increases the chances that your payment will be processed the same day and of being able to cash out again the following day. The cut-off time each day is:
- 3.00pm in Australia (local)
- 3.30pm in New Zealand.
Please note that cash outs requested after the cut off will be regarded as having been made the following business day.
How much can I cash out?
You can cash out up to $1700 per week in Australia and $1800 in New Zealand.
For the purposes of the weekly limit, the time frame is from 00:00 on Monday to 23:59 on Sunday.

Terms and conditions

Flex Pay is only available to eligible driver-partners. An “eligible driver-partner” means a driver-partner who has: (i) completed at least 25 Uber trips; (ii) taken their first trip not less than 14 days prior; and (iii) passed Uber’s daily fraud and security screen.
Your ability to cash out is subject to your financial institution’s processing times and Uber makes no guarantee that transferred funds will be immediately available.
Cash outs made after 3.00pm local time Australia or 3.30pm New Zealand, on a weekend or on a public/bank holiday constitute a cash out made on the following business day.
Cash out is capped at $1700 per week in Australia and $1800 in New Zealand.
The option to cash out applies to trip fares, promotions and referral payments.
High value trips may be held for review as a security measure.
