How it works
- Open the Uber app this Friday, 11:30am to 3pm.
- Select the ‘CHOPPER’ option.
- If successful, you and a friend will enjoy complimentary uberX transfers to the secret launch location.
- Strap yourself in as you take to the sky for a FREE 10 minute joyride!
Pro tips
- Demand will be sky high. Increase your odds by getting your friends to request too.
- Have a friend who’s new to Uber? Share the code ‘ADLCHOPPER’ and they will receive $20 off their first Uber ride (valid until 30 September).
- If you can’t get an UberCHOPPER right away, keep trying! The promotion ends at 3pm.
Small print
- The choppers aren’t ours – we wish! These chopper rides will be provided by local providers South Coast Helicopters and Aerotech. They’ll have some fine print for you to sign before you fly.
- Your friend will need to be at the same location as you. No extra stops.
- The helipad is at a secret location near the Adelaide CBD.
- Rides are subject to weather and safety conditions. The pilot has final decision regarding takeoff and landing.
