Love is Love
UPDATE: On Saturday, June 28, eight different couples said “I do” with Uber. The day was full of touching moments we won’t soon forget — and we’d like to share just a few of those moments with you.
This weekend’s SF Pride will mark the one-year anniversary of the return of marriage equality to California. SF is our home – and for us at Uber, this is a weekend to celebrate! You will see us marching in SF Pride, partying with Juanita MORE!, and celebrating the inclusive idea that love is love by helping a few lucky couples say “I do.”
As a member of the LGBT community, this weekend is also personal for me and many of us at Uber. We are indebted to those who fought for our rights from Stonewall to Harvey Milk to Edith Windsor. We have come a long way as a community, but we are not quite there yet. We know the responsibility is on all of us to carry forth the torch – and we at Uber are committed to this fight for equality for all.
This is why we are so excited about SF Pride. And why we are especially excited to celebrate this occasion with the couples who will tie the knot with #UberWedding.
Love will always come in many different forms. But love is love.

A new report conducted in partnership with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) reveals that when empowered with more transportation options like Uber, people are making better choices that save lives.
New technologies are creating opportunities no one could have imagined. To understand Uber’s place in that trend, we commissioned a survey of our driver-partners and put together a comprehensive analysis.
