Rev your engines PHX: Secret Ubers on scene
Hey Phoenix! The heat is finally coming down, but Uber is in town to heat things up! As the 6th largest city in the US, Phoenix is home to some of the fastest growing companies in America. With big names like Lifelock and GoDaddy and super sleek co-working spots like Gangplank, CO+HOOTS and Seed Spot, the PHX Metro totally has the tech thing down. In the winter, golf legends flock to the hundreds of golf courses in the area to polish their game, and our spring training stadiums house many of the biggest names in Major League Baseball.
Oh, and we can’t possibly forget to mention the epic pool of racing talent… Super stylish professional race car driver and former bachelorette contestant Arie Luyendyk Jr wanted to take a break from behind the wheel. We are always looking out for our PHX family, so when Arie pressed the Uber button, we quickly scooped him up in one of our black on black Suburbans.
So why the PHX Metro? Our stylish business professionals in Phoenix need to roll up to every meeting in style. People go on dates, it happens… Uber makes the difference in that date. Plus, we have some of the hottest nightlife and a lot of ground to cover. Uber wants to take the question out of how you will get home safely; whether it’s from the clubs in Scottsdale, the bars on Mill Ave or a late-night flight from PHX Sky Harbor we’ve got your back. Over the next few weeks we will be fine-tuning our pricing and coverage during this super-secret data gathering stage.
So grab your two-way, download the Uber app and grab an Uber now!

We caught up with the man in front of the cam to learn more about what inspired him to create this feel-good video.
A new report conducted in partnership with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) reveals that when empowered with more transportation options like Uber, people are making better choices that save lives.
New technologies are creating opportunities no one could have imagined. To understand Uber’s place in that trend, we commissioned a survey of our driver-partners and put together a comprehensive analysis.
