St. Paul, Your uberX has Arrived ….and it’s FREE!
Ubers have been rolling through the Twin Cities for almost a year now, bringing reliable transportation and sleek sophistication to riders with one convenient tap of the app. But we know…true ease comes with the freedom of choice. Enter: uberX!
WHAT IS uberX?
uberX is our low cost, ridesharing option that combines that same great Uber quality and reliability you know and love, with prices cheaper than a taxi. On uberX, you’ll find a mix of hybrid and mid-range cars — think Prius and Toyota Camry — in a variety of styles, with seating for up to four riders.
HOW MUCH IS uberX?

- Toggle over to uberX to give it a try.
- Set your pickup location and tap the “Request uberX” button. You must request from the St. Paul area.
- Shoot us some feedback via the in-app rating screen or @Uber_MSP.

In addition, we’re pumped to be part of a growing innovation ecosystem in Pittsburgh that includes world leading research institutions and companies, as well as an increasing number of start-ups.
