Uber Officially Launches in Manchester with Free Uber Weekend!

As many of you already know, we’ve had cars on the road for a few weeks now, but we’re very excited to announce that the rubber-stamp has landed: as of today we have officially launched in Manchester!

We’ve received a lot of love from the Cottonopolis since we first arrived and so we wanted to give something back, to show you how much we appreciate your support: FREE RIDES FOR EVERYONE THIS WEEKEND! Yes free rides; whether you’re already signed up or not.

We’re inviting all of Manchester to use Uber and ride FREE from Thursday May 8th 6am – Sunday May 11th 11.59pm.

With just the push of a button, Uber will connect you to the closest available driver in town, ready to pick you up in minutes. You’ll see a photo of your driver, the car they are driving and even watch them on the app as they drive toward you.
