Uber Answers Ireland’s Call
Dublin has long been known as one of the world’s most enchanting cities – a place where great tradition, hospitality and a pint of the good stuff are never more than a few steps away. Life got a bit sweeter for Dubliners this morning when secret Ubers were spotted across town.
Ireland and Leinster rugby standout Cian Healy was the first to catch a ride, when he opened his iPhone at Clontarf Rugby Club and his chauffeur pulled up in a matter of minutes. Cian was off, and so was Uber in Dublin!
New to Uber? Fear not. Here’s all you need to do to get started:
Open your Uber app on your smartphone, request a car, and in minutes a nice ride will show up and get you on your way.
No unnecessary waiting: you can see where your car is on a live map and get a notification when it’s arriving, so you can maximize your own time.
At the end of your ride, just get out of the car. No need for cash. You will receive an email receipt in minutes.
Use promo code: UberDublin and get 20 Euros off your first ride!
Uber is still in test phase, so only limited vehicles are available and promotional pricing is in place (20% off standard prices). But, don’t worry, we’re working hard and adding additional cars every day to ensure you get a comfortable, reliable, and safe ride.
