UBER joins the Mile-High Club!

Err…we mean Mile-High Club City!

Stranded under a cruel sun, David Cohen, Founder and CEO of Techstars, was suffering from a severe lack of transportation.

With a lightning quick draw, he fired off an Uber request.  Within minutes, chauffeur David rolled up in his Suburban, and they were off into the sunset sunrise.

So begins the legend of Uber’s “super secret stealth test mode” in Denver (and our Boulder experiment!)

Denver has come a long way since its horse-riding, bronco-busting, Wild West days of yesteryear, my friends.  While the Broncos remain, there’s a completely new sheriff in town.

Denver has some unique challenges (the airport is how far away?!), so we’ll be tweaking our pricing, fleet, and placement over the next few weeks.

Remember, while we’re in “research mode,” you can request a car, but be aware that availability will be limited until our official launch. If you’re able to trade in your old steed for a new black stallion, be sure to send us your feedback at supportdenver@uber.com or hit us up on Twitter @Uber_Denver .

Yet beware nUbers, this is strictly for Adventurous Riders Only!
