Saddle Up Big D – Secret Ubers Have Arrived!

Dallas is home to dozens of Fortune 500 headquarters, the best brisket in all the land (Pecan Lodge in our humble opinion, but let the debate rage on!), Southfork Ranch and America’s team. Big D just got a little sweeter this week, as secret UBERs were spotted across the Metroplex.

It all started when Texas Rangers catcher Mike Napoli requested an Uber downtown. His chauffeur Simon picked him up within minutes in a ballin’ black Suburban, and they were off.

Why Dallas? For starters, who likes being stalled on 75, braving a cab to McKinney or hauling over to Billy Bob’s for a night out? Dallas has some interesting challenges, including those pesky tollways and that airport with its own ZIP code, so we’ll be working to tweak our pricing, fleet and supply during this “secret” testing phase.

So what are you waiting for? Avoid that 108-degree Texas summer sun, and instead get to your destination in style in an Uber near you. Tell us what you think at supportdallas@uber.com, and on our Twitter page @UBER_dallas.

Warning: Adventurous riders only!

Love,

Team @UBER_Dallas
