Uber Cleveland Launches with Free Rides for 2 Weeks
Cleveland spoke, and we listened! Starting today, Uber is hitting the streets of Cleveland, giving you a seamless, stylish, and convenient way to move around the city. Two is better than one: so we are rolling out the classic UberBLACK & our ultra-affordable ridesharing option, uberX, at the same time, both FREE for 2 weeks!
With just the push of a button, Uber will connect you with the closest available driver in town, ready to pick you up in minutes. You’ll see a photo of your driver, the car they are driving, and even watch them on the app as they drive toward you.
Indians second baseman, Jason Kipnis, was first to take UberBLACK for a spin in C-Town. With one tap of the Uber app, the All-Star’s private driver arrived in minutes, ready take him to the ballpark for his game against the Padres.
Heading to the ballgame, but no frills needed? Checkout uberX instead. On uberX you’ll find mid-range or hybrid vehicles in a variety of colors and styles, with seating for up to 4 people. The low cost option has Uber reliability, with prices up to 25% cheaper than a taxi.
