Uber Cincinnati Launches with Free Rides for 2 Weeks
The Queen City deserves to be treated like royalty, so that’s exactly what we are going to do. Starting at 3pm today, Uber is hitting the streets of Cincinnati, giving you a seamless, stylish, and convenient way to move around the city. One option isn’t fitting for royalty: so we are rolling out the ever stylish UberBLACK & our ultra-affordable ridesharing option, uberX, at the same time, both FREE for 2 weeks!
With just the push of a button, Uber will connect you with the closest available driver in town, ready to pick you up in minutes. You’ll see a photo of your driver, the car they are driving, and even watch them on the app as they drive toward you.
Bengals Punter and Cincinnati native, Kevin Huber, was first to take uberX for a spin in the City of Seven Hills. On uberX you’ll find mid-range or hybrid vehicles in a variety of colors and styles, with seating for up to four people.
Perfect for heading to the gym during the off-season, uberX, the low-cost option, offers Uber reliability with prices up to 30% cheaper than a taxi.
Driving Cincy forward and representing City Council, P.G. Sittenfeld jumped in the first UberBLACK available in the Queen City.
With one tap of the Uber app, the Councilman’s private driver was en route ready to take him wherever he needed to go, in an all Black car of course.
Toggle the slider at the bottom of your Uber app to choose uberX or BLACK. Within minutes, you’ll get a curbside pickup from your own private driver.

• Five FREE rides through 11:59pm on Tuesday (3/25) for up to $25 per ride.
