Welcome to Atlanta Where the Ubers Play….

The ATL is the birthplace of Coca-Cola, King of Pops delicious popsicles, and the world’s busiest airport. Now it’s welcoming Uber to the neighborhood. HOTlanta, famous for its heat, also loves its deep music roots and growing tech scene. So it was pretty easy choosing our first UBER ATL rider. Our Rider Zero, superstar music producer and rapper Jermaine Dupri, whipped out his iPhone at the crack of dawn (4:45AM to be exact), requesting a secret UBER car from his home to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.  His driver Terry Johnson rolled up in a slick, black Suburban as JD prepared to jet off to his next uber cool destination (see what we did there?).

Uber’s secret *testing* phase in the ATL hath begunneth!  Forget that 105° heatwave, it’s only gonna get hotter now that Uber’s in town….that’s actually a good thing.

Although there are a few cars on the road, please keep in mind that UBER Atlanta is still in research mode. The experience you have during our *secret* Uber phase may not blow your mind the way it will once we officially launch (though it likely will). We’re still in the process of building our supply and hitting the perfect price point, so feedback is welcomed! Encouraged even.  Please send your thoughts to supportatlanta@uber.com or share your experience with us on Twitter @Uber_ATL. Stay tuned for official launch updates.

Warning: Adventurous Riders Only.
