Sydney Events this Weekend

The weekend is here – the SUN is out – that means one thing – Friday & Saturday night will both be HUGE on the Uber platform!

If you like making $$$’s, clear your schedule and come online with Uber.

Weather: Friday night is forecast to be dry = many riders will be heading out. Saturday should be a scorcher, meaning plenty of Sydneysiders will be wanting to get to the beach and harbourside throughout the day. It will also mean by sun down, beachside areas such as Bondi and Manly will be bustling with riders.

Some events we’re partnering with this weekend:

1. St Jerome’s Laneway Festival
When: Sunday
Where: Sydney College of the Arts, Balmain Road, Lilyfield
Rides: rides to from 11am, rides from at 10pm
Attendees: 10,000 ticket holders have Uber codes.

2. Taronga Twilight Series
When: Friday and Saturday nights, 30th Jan – 21st March.
Where: Taronga Zoo.
Rides: Rides to from 5:30pm, rides from at 10:15pm
Pickup information: Uber partners to pick up and drop-off at: legal rear to curb spaces, 12P parking spaces, bus zone after 6pm (parallel to the roadway between Zoo Admin and Bus Bays).
Attendees: 2,000 per show

3. Sydney Rock N Roll Alternative Market
When: Sunday
Where: Sydney University
Rides: to from 10am, from at 4pm.
Attendees: 1,300

4. Fishing at OAF
When: Saturday
Where: The Oxford Arts Factory, 36-48 Oxford St
Rides: to from 8pm, rides from at 2am.
Attendance: 1,000

5. Official Laneway Afterparty
When: Sunday
Where: The Oxford Arts Factory, 36-48 Oxford St
Rides: to from 10pm, rides from at 4am
Attendance: 600
